To save an image to a Chromebook, right-click on it in Google Chrome. rename the image if necessary, then click Save.

Chromebooks are good cheap alternatives to PCs and Macs, but they do require some skill. It’s similar to saving photographs on a PC or Mac, but slightly different.

What is the Best Way to Save Images on Chromebook?

  • Open Google Chrome by selecting it from the Chrome OS taskbar or by typing its name into the search box.
  • Navigate to the image you want to save and press the Save button. Right-click the image and choose to Save image as.
  • If you want to rename the image, you can do so in the Save file as a dialogue box. Then click on the Save button.

Where is My Saved Images on Chromebook?

  • After you’ve saved an image, you may select the Show in Folder option to have it appear immediately among your other files.
  • If you wish to find saved photographs on Chrome OS, however, you must first open the Files app by searching for it in the search bar.
  • In the left navigation pane, select the Downloads folder from the My files section.
  • When you open the Downloads folder, the saved image should appear at the top of the list. Alternatively, you can use the Photographs library link in the left navigation pane to access any images you have previously saved.

How to Copy And Paste an Image on a Chromebook?

  • To copy and paste an image, locate it as described above. Once you’ve discovered it, either right-click it and select Copy or click it and hit Ctrl + C on your keyboard.
  • Then, using the My files tab in the left navigation window, paste it into that folder. Ctrl + V on the keyboard or right-clicking in the folder and selecting Paste.

How to Delete Images from Your Chromebook?

Delete an image from your Chrome OS device, but not from the Images library folder. The Images folder contains read-only shortcuts to saved images. Also, keep in mind that on Chrome OS, files deleted from a local folder like Downloads are permanently lost and cannot be recovered.

  • To erase a photograph from a Chromebook, launch the Files app and search for it.
  • Locate the image in its default location, the Downloads folder. Click the image, then press Alt + Backspace, or right-click and select Delete.
