Instagram is best understood as a social media application for sharing photos and videos. If you’re on Instagram for whatever reason, like Instagram marketing, chances are you’ve seen someone else’s post and thought, “Hey, I’d like that to be on my profile.”

Posting someone else’s message is called reposting, and it can’t be done directly through the app. To post something fun, interesting, or important that you have seen on Instagram, you will have to use the following guide.

Transfer on Instagram

Screenshot of the photo, crop it, post! Or use a staging application:

  • Download a reposting application (we use Regrammer + Repost for Instagram)
  • Open Instagram
  • Find the message you want to post and click on the three dots.
  • Paste the link in the Regrammer application and click “Preview.”
  • Click on “Repost”

How to refuel on Instagram

As I just said, Instagram does not allow you to reposition within the application. This is unique to other social networking sites like Twitter, which allows you to tweet, and Facebook, which allows you to share other people’s messages. It is not clear exactly why Instagram hides this feature from users. What we do know is that other third-party applications have created various ways to get around this limitation. Let’s explore your options.

Note: To post something on Instagram, you must first get permission from that user. This is written in the Instagram Terms of Use.

An easy way to get someone’s permission is to comment on that post and ask if you can share that image or video. Another option is DM on Instagram.

Undoubtedly, getting followers is not an easy deal on Instagram; you can become an influencer by having many fan followers on Instagram. But now, we are working 24/7 for our customers and giving you services at low prices; you need to know How to Buy Instagram Followers UK. Just visit and know the desired information.

Repost with screen shots

The most obvious and simplistic way to post someone’s Instagram photo is by capturing the screenshot and uploading it to your own profile. Not sure how to take the screenshot? We have done the work for you.

Capturing the screen and sharing an entry has some drawbacks. For one thing, the quality of a photo drops every time a screenshot is taken. This is because you are not using the original product but a copy of the original.

Another complication with the screenshot of an Instagram post is getting the application interface in the shot. This means that that person’s username, caption, likes, and comments are all part of your shot. You will have to trim it.

Cropping an image, again, can affect the quality of the image.

It should be noted that screenshots do not work for videos as there is currently no way to trim a video recorded on the screen. Not sure how to capture your phone screen? Click to find out how to record your screen on your iPhone.

Repost with Regrammer

Apart from the screenshot, you have the option to use applications. We are going to go over some instructions that describe how to use the app.

  1. Download Regrammer

Start by downloading the app. The following image shows the correct application to download. When downloading, you don’t need to create an account. The application does not require accounts for replenishment.

When you open the app, you see a simple home page:

  1. Open Instagram

To continue, open Instagram and go to the image or video you want to forward. For our example, we will use an Instagram post from G2. We have decided to use the announcement from the Reach conference. Once we have selected the image or video that we want to publish, click on the three dots in the upper right corner.

  1. Copy link

You will view a list of options that appear. Click on “Copy link.” A small pop-up should appear saying that the link has been successfully copied to the clipboard.

  1. Back to Regrammer

At this time, you can go back to Regrammer. Open the app on the home screen. The link that was copied to the clipboard will probably be automatically copied into the application. If not, click in the text box and paste the link. Click on “preview.”

  1. Share from Regrammer

Share the image, click on the blue circular icon below and select “Repost on Instagram.” You will have to choose if you want the image to appear on your Instagram story or if you want to post it on your feed.

For this example, we will choose “feed.” Regrammer will redirect you to Instagram to share the message. You can see that the screen below has us posting the G2 photo as if we were posting our own.

Post as normal

From here, the accounting is carried out in the normal way. You can choose to add more images, combine multiple photos into one message, etc.

To post a video:

If you prefer to share an Instagram video with Regrammer, the process is the same. Find the video you want to share and copy the link in Regrammer as you would with an image, and you will be able to preview the video just as you did with the image, as well as choose the social media platform on which you want to upload it. Then you have the same opportunity to upload the video to Instagram as you normally would, with the options of customizing with filters or making the video longer or shorter.

We have created a video tutorial to accompany this article. If you are a more visual person, click “play” to follow the game:

Repost with Repost for Instagram

Repost for Instagram is another tool that you can use to post photos and videos. Let’s go over the details, as well as explain how it differs from Regrammer.

Download Repost for Instagram

This is another third-party application that allows users to post Instagram photos and videos.

Back to Instagram

Again, this app does not require you to create a username or account. Once you’ve downloaded it, you can immediately go back to Instagram and find the message you want to share. We will use G2 as an example again. (But with a different photo, to liven things up.)

Return to Repost for Instagram

Once done, open Repost for Instagram. As you can see, the different messages that we copy to the clipboard appear automatically when we open Repost for Instagram. Click on the first one, as it is the photo we want to share.

Customize the message in the application

Once you click on the photo, you will be taken to a screen to preview the message and make some edits. The main difference between the two options we have shown you is that Repost for Instagram always gives attribution to the original poster. This communicates to the audience that a message is being re-shared and includes the original poster’s name.

Users can keep the “copy title” box checked if they want to upload the post with the same title or uncheck this box and type something completely different. Users can edit the attribution mark position or remove it entirely by choosing “none” if they wish.

Click on “repost” and specify the channel.

Once the message is to your liking, click the purple “repost” button on the previous page. You will be required if you want to share the message with your story or with your feed. For this example, we’ll go back to choosing feeds.

Customize the entry on Instagram

Your screen should look like you are posting your own photo to Instagram. You can edit the photo with filters and caption it however you want. Once you’ve done it here, you can click “Next” in the upper right corner and continue with your title, location, and tags as usual.
