Chipotle is preparing a new dish. New Pollo Asado from Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) is now available for a limited time in the US and Canada.
Chipotle’s fresh grilled Pollo Asado uses conventional cooking techniques to generate brilliant, crave-able flavor. On the Chipotle app, Chipotle.com, and with third-party delivery partners, you can get your food.
An Entirely New Way to Eat Chicken
Pollo Asado is the first menu innovation with chicken in the restaurant chain’s 29-year history. Chipotle’s Pollo Asado boasts a vibrant, crave-able flavor unlike anything else on the menu.
Before settling on the final recipe, Chipotle began testing it in November in select Sacramento and Cincinnati restaurants.
The final premium protein is spiced and seared on the plancha. A wonderful marinade, freshly squeezed lime, and fresh cilantro bring it to life once it’s ready. The final taste is garlic and guajillo peppers.
Adobo Chicken has long been Chipotle’s best-selling protein, according to Chipotle’s Chief Marketing Officer Chris Brandt. “Chicken is definitely our most popular protein, with many of our most devoted Chipotle customers buying it the majority of the time.” Introducing a new taste of chicken will “definitely be a crowd-pleaser“ for Chipotle customers, according to the company.
$0 Delivery Fee Offer

Chipotle introduced Plant-Based Chorizo to its menu earlier this year. In August 2021, the new plant-based protein was initially tested in Denver and Indianapolis before expanding nationwide in January. It’s prepared with entirely natural, farm-grown components, not synthetic ones. For those in the mood for a little heat, this is a great option.
