Organize Your TikTok Favorites: TikTok has certainly changed a lot in the last week, introducing several new features.
The software now allows users to categorize their “Favorites,” or stored movies, making it easier to bookmark and discover them later.
TikTok formerly allowed users to save films to their Favorites but not organize them. This wasn’t an issue if you only added videos to your Favorites sparingly. But heavy users had to scroll endlessly to find a specific clip.
How to Organize Your TikTok Favorites
After saving a video, TikTok users now have the option of adding that video to a “collection” of videos within their Favorites list or creating a new collection with a video. Like saving a post to a collection on Instagram. The method is simple. TikTok Favorites can be organized by tapping the bookmark icon on your profile. Which is located next to your “Edit Profile” and Instagram icons. At the top of the screen, touch “Create new collection.” Your new collection will be titled and you’ll be able to touch on the videos in your Favorites that you’d like it to include. To create as many collections as you like, just follow these instructions.
How to Add a TikTok to a Favorites Collection
You can also add videos to your Favorites collection as you scroll through your For You Page. Simply tap the arrow icon on the right. Select “Add to Favorites” from the last row of icons in the box that displays. Tap the tiny “Tap to add to a collection” banner. It will then show your existing Favorites collections, with the opportunity to create a new one. Tap the one you desire, and your film will be saved and ready to watch when you are.
When you’re ready to find a video you’ve saved, go to your profile, hit the favorites ribbon, and browse your collections. Videos saved under the same name will surface if you search for them on the Explore page. Tap the heart icon above your grid on your profile page if you can’t find the videos you thought you saved. To transfer a hearted video to your favorites, long touch it and follow the directions.
