Beloved companion of 28 years, Elizabeth Ann “Liz” O’Brien of Belmont, passed away quietly Monday afternoon January 3, 2021 after a heroic battle with cancer. 62.
Born December 16, 1959 in Medford to James J. O’Brien Jr. and Florence Ann (Lukas) O’Brien. Liz grew up in Cambridge and now lives in Belmont.
Liz, a 1977 alumnus of Cambridge Latin High School, went on to study at the University of Massachusetts and the University of South Florida before completing her degree at Northeastern University.
Liz began her career as a radio announcer for WMVY on Cape Cod.
Liz has always loved law and worked as a Paralegal in various Boston law firms before becoming the Fair Labor Officer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the past ten years.
Liz adored pink and painting, among other hobbies.
She adored Disney and “Dumbo”.
Richard Tortola and William Tortola; adored nieces and nephews; Jason B. Landaverde, Nicholas Tortola, Alyssa Tortola, and Rosey Tortola.
Her many cousins and friends will miss her deeply.
The family and friends of Elizabeth are invited to a Graveside Funeral Service at Highland Meadow Cemetery, 700 Concord Avenue, BELMONT on Saturday, January 8th at 11:00 a.m.
