Gwyneth Paltrow has Kourtney Kardashian launch a candle.
Goop is releasing Kourtney’s Posh candle. Despite its name, the candle smells like gardenia. A $20 votive and $75 10-ounce bottle.
Goop Carries Many Candles With Strange Names
The candle follows Gwyneth’s “Smells Like My Vagina” candle from 2020. The candle has geranium, bergamot, cedar, rose, and germanate, according to Goop’s website.
The “Smells Like My Vagina” candle sold out quickly due to its bold name (as will the Pooshy candle). The 10.5-ounce candle costs $75 on Gwyneth’s website.
Gwyneth has continued to expand her online platform with the introduction of candles with catchy names such as “This Smells Like My Orgasm” and “Hands Off My Vagina,” both of which were released earlier this year.
In 2008, the actress and entrepreneur launched Goop, which is now estimated to be worth $250 million. Because of Gwyneth’s lifestyle brand’s consistent release of odd and, at times, even ridiculous products, it has managed to maintain its prominence in the media.
In 2018, Goop began selling vaginal jade eggs, which claimed to balance hormones and improve bladder control. Brand fined $145,000 for false claims. The next year, a woman suffered burns after following Goop’s vaginal steam instructions.
Gwyneth’s brand carries DTF pills to boost female libido, bio-frequency stickers, and bee sting therapy.
Kourtney’s lifestyle platform is newer than Gwyneth’s and has less baggage. The reality star (who recently married Travis Barker) has built the brand to $15.5 million, and her new collaboration may help boost that.
