It’s time to spend time with your family. Kanye West attended Super Bowl LVI with two of his children, just hours after loudly criticising his separated wife Kim Kardashian’s relationship with Pete Davidson on social media.
The rapper, 44, travelled to Inglewood, California, for the game on Sunday, February 13, with his two oldest children, North, 8, and Saint, 6. North and Saint are both in the sixth grade. Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2 are also shared by the Grammy-winning musician and Skims creator, both 41.
Prior to the game, West informed his Instagram followers that he intended to bring his children to the game later in the day. As part of the same tweet, the Yeezy designer promised to “double” Michael Che’s pay in exchange for the ability to fire Davidson, who is 28 years old and a cast member of Saturday Night Live.
“Sorry Ye, but I would never betray my friends,” the comedian, 38, wrote on a notepad that looked similar to the one West was holding in his Instagram shot on Sunday, and shared the image with the world via social media.
Additionally, the “Stronger” singer said that he had Kid Cudi removed from his upcoming album, Donda 2, due of the musician’s association with the King of Staten Island star. “Just so everyone knows, Cudi will not be appearing on Donda since he is buddies with you know who,” West wrote on lined paper, which he later posted a snapshot of on Instagram, which has since been deleted.
Rapper Kanye West, 38, responded on social media, saying that the rapper was lying about why his song “Pursuit of Happiness” was excised off the album. “We talked about this a few of weeks ago,” he wrote on Twitter on Saturday, February 12. “You’re a jerk for flipping the script and posting this untruth on the internet just to see what people think of you. “You ain’t no pal,” says the author.
The Billboard Music Award winner went on to post a screenshot of what appeared to be a text message from Davidson himself. In the letter, the Guy Code alum is said to have written, “As a guy, I’d never get [in the way of] your children.” “I’ll make you a promise. Your [methods of] parenting your children are entirely your [own] concern, and not mine. “I hope that one day I will be able to meet them and that we will all become friends.”
“NO, YOU WILL NEVER MEET MY CHILDREN,” West captioned the photo on Instagram.
This year’s Super Bowl featured a cameo by the artist in a McDonald’s ad, which depicted him pulling up to the drive-thru in a massive truck. “Can I get uhhhhh,” the producer inquired, as if he were having difficulty selecting what to do for dinner.
On Saturday night, Davidson and Kardashian went out to dinner in Brooklyn, New York, to prepare for the game. A special dining tent had been put up outside the restaurant as part of the restaurant’s COVID-19 procedures, and the couple entered the tent holding hands.
An insider told Us Weekly earlier this year that the couple’s romance had only grown stronger as a result of West’s public attacks on his separated wife and her new partner. “It’s not having any effect on their relationship,” the person explained. “If anything, all of this turbulence is driving Kim and Pete closer together because he makes everything so simple.”
