Mississippi: Itasha Brunson, a mother of 5, tried to kill herself with her children on Facebook Live on June 25 after discovering that her boyfriend had been married for a long time and kept him secret.
Shocked, Brunson tried to take her life and the two children. The Mississippi resident shared the discovery with her Facebook followers by going live on the platform and sharing how discouraged she felt. Itasha repeatedly said that she wanted to end her life along with the lives of her two children.
Many people were surprised when Itasha Brunson, a mother of five from Mississippi, documented her attempt to kill her five children and herself on Facebook Live. She says she wanted to kill herself after she found out her boyfriend was already married. Moments later, she was involved in a severe car accident.
In the nearly 20-minute video, Brunson said he wanted to commit suicide and also decided to apply his daughters as he wanted someone to “come with her.” According to The Courier Daily, after releasing her live video, Itasha was involved in a multi-car accident on I-240 in Memphis, Tennessee. Brunson was taken to hospital with two of her children to treat her uncritical injury.
After receiving an online backlash, Brunson claimed she didn’t want to commit suicide and was only seriously injured knowing that her boyfriend was married. Many people were concerned about their mental health after the incident. Others said she just wanted attention, so she said, “she felt she was being judged too harshly.” As a result, a GoFundMe page was created with his name.
