Hayden Panettiere announced her return to acting after an almost five-year break.
Hayden will reprise her role as Kirby Reed in Scream 6, Spyglass Media and Paramount Pictures revealed. Hayden last played the part in 2011’s Scream 4.

Hayden hasn’t appeared on camera in nearly four years. Her last screen appearance was in 2018 in Nashville. Previously, Hayden had roles in films like Raising Helen, I Love You Beth Cooper, and Bring It On: All or Nothing.
Hayden’s Personal Problems Kept Her From Acting
Hayden’s personal troubles, especially her on-and-off romance with Brian Hickerson, have been widely reported. Hayden divorced her fiancé, professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko, in 2018.
In the same year, reports surfaced of a domestic violence incident between Brian and his father, which Brian denied. His father told cops he was hurt in a “fall, not an assault,” Us Weekly says.
In 2019, Brian was charged with domestic abuse after a physical altercation with Hayden, but the pair remained together. Domestic violence was later accused.
On Valentine’s Day 2020, Brian was arrested for allegedly beating Hayden. A protective order was issued for the hero’s alum. Brian pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a year in prison. Hayden and Brian were recently detained in March following a physical brawl outside a bar.
People have wondered how Hayden feels about her daughter Kaya, 7, whom she shares with Wladimir. Her father retains primary custody, albeit he confirms she is not in his native Ukraine at this moment.
Hayden’s return to acting may be a hint of better things to come for the former child star.
