Ezra Miller had caused a public commotion and was assaulted recently. New charges against the actor are worrisome.
Parents allege Ezra (who uses they/them pronouns) has been influencing their teen daughter for years.
The request was filed in Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Court on Tuesday by Chase Iron Eyes, a lawyer, and Sara Jumping Eagle, a pediatrician, who share an 18-year-old daughter. They allege Ezra, 29, has communicated with her since she was 12.
They say Ezra utilizes fear, threats, anxiety, and intimidation to dominate her. They believe Ezra has abused her physically and given her drugs.
Takata’s parents say Ezra convinced her she’s “non-binary transgender” and to go by Gibson (though Tokata has released a statement via Instagram stating she made these decisions herself).
The Teen Has Come To Ezra’s Defense
The Fantastic Beasts star reportedly met Tokata Iron Eyes at Standing Rock Reservation in 2016. After connecting, they stayed in touch.
Court records show Ezra and Tokata’s complicated relationship. The actor paid for her Bard College tuition when she was 16 years old. Her parents say she did it to feel “indebted” to the star.
The teen dropped out of college and stayed with Ezra until her parents picked her up. When they visited the actor’s home, they said their daughter lacked a driver’s license, debit card, or car keys. Tokata reportedly spent three weeks “detoxifying” after returning home but returned to the actor.
Tokata was with Ezra when he got into trouble in Hawaii. Ezra was arrested in April after refusing to leave a party and throwing a chair at a woman. Ezra was arrested for harassing and assaulting a couple at a karaoke bar.
Tokata defended Ezra despite the allegations. She called him a “comrade” and a source of support on Instagram.
Ezra hasn’t commented on the protective order. Next month’s hearing.
