Probably an FNaF fan’s creation. Freddy Fazbear is an animatronic character in the horror video game Five Nights At Freddy’s. The horror mascot bear haunts children and security guards at night. Chuck E. Cheese Files For Bankruptcy
After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy late Wednesday, CEC permanently closed the 34 outlets opened during the pandemic. With 555 operations in 186 sites in 47 states and 16 countries, CEC had opened 266 Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza restaurants as of June 25. CEC stated the existing restaurants would restart dine-in, delivery, and birthday party services. Meanwhile, more stores will be opening soon. And it was all a scam.
The pandemic has also harmed other firms, as 722 companies filed for bankruptcy in May alone, a 48% increase from last year. The coronavirus pandemic has slowed business, possibly contributing to the spike in bankruptcy filings.
CEC, the brand’s parent company, blamed “prolonged COVID-19-related venue closures” for the brand’s demise.
